TWO PEAS AND THE POD: OUR MODS AND GEAR

This page is where you'll find all of the major (and minor) modifications and upgrades we have performed on our 2018 Tommy Bahama 27FB Airstream (a.k.a. THE POD) and our 2018 Ford F-150 XLT (a.k.a. ROVER) since we started traveling fulltime in May of 2018.

We'll also include a list of all the extra gear we carry to enhance our everyday life on the road.

Each section will be organized by placing the more elaborate and often more expensive modifications near the top and the minor ones closer to the bottom of the section.

MEET "ROVER"

ROVER is our 2018 Ford F-150 Supercrew XLT. He came equipped from the factory with a 3.5L V6 EcoBoost turbocharged engine and an electronic 10-speed automatic transmission. Also a 3.55 geared electronic locking (4x4) axle. He also has a 157" wheelbase to accommodate his extra long 6.5' bed (5.5' is standard). His MSRP was $54,600 but we didn't pay anywhere near that much!

THE POD is our 2018 Airstream 27 FBQ (front bed queen) Tommy Bahama Edition.
His MSRP was $126,659 but once again we didn't pay anywhere near that much!
